Tue 21st Nov International Night at China Rose Shrewsbury. Mini bus from BP 6:55pm Black Tie. Great Night - Many thanks to Alan for organising everything. It was a good job the quiz was mainly multiple choices! Final question :- "Wise man he (a) stayed at home? (b) had a headache the next morning? (c) had a good time?" answers to Alan. It was nice to see the 'Old Uns' from 'and District'!

Don't miss it. Great family day out. Six mile downstream paddle and picknick.
So far five family teams have entered. Beware it could get wet! Family pride at stake.
BATTLE REPORT
Fantastic day. Scorching hot day, Many incidents including the sinking of 'Pugwash Pete's' vessel.
Many underhand tactics requiring the 'Beaumont Vikings' to don their helmets on more than one occasion repelling attacks from the 'Doesburg Pirates' and 'Bruces Bandits'.
Mudwrestling for the kids in the river afterwards! We watched on from the comfort of the Pub!

Very competetive racing. (Pity about all the black flags!).
Next time Rednal Oswestry. No broken ribs this time.
Food at 'Riverside Inn' Aymestry excellent.
